MESAS Language Minors

MESAS offers undergraduate minors in Arabic, Modern Hebrew, Hindi and Persian. The language minors require students to complete three years of language study, most often including elementary (101/102), intermediate (201/202) and advanced (301/302) levels of the language. Students with previous knowledge of a language above the intermediate level may obtain a minor by taking three additional language courses above their present level, in addition to an approved course in literature of the particular language. Arabic and Hebrew both offer courses beyond the Advanced level, with Arabic offering a fourth year, Advanced Plus language sequence (401/402), and Hebrew offering several fourth-year (400 level) language courses, including Modern Hebrew Literature and Hebrew of the Israeli Media.
