Brajesh Samarth joined Emory University in 2016, as Senior Lecturer and Coordinator in Hindi-Urdu language.  He earned his doctorate in 2013, and specializes in language maintenance and attrition in the Indian diaspora in the United States.  He has taught Hindi-Urdu at many language programs, such as: School for International Training in Jaipur, India; University of Wisconsin-Madison; Stanford University.
