Sagit Shaked started her Hebrew teaching career in Israel, where she was born. She earned her B.A. degree in Theatre, Art and Design from Tel Aviv University, and her teaching certificate at Beit Berl College. Sagit is currently pursuing her M.A. degree in Second Language Acquisition at Middlebury College.

When she moved to the U.S., Sagit started to teach Hebrew in the private school sector, where she taught Hebrew and Art in a multi-cultural program for 14 years at the Epstein School. There, she built the art curriculum of the school and was responsible for school Hebrew program sets. She also coordinated integration with public students' exhibitions and competitions that involved Jewish values and Pro-Israel concepts at the Georgia Governor's mansion. Additionally, she worked as a Hebrew teacher for students with special needs, implementing techniques that will help every student in their own path of growing and learning.

Sagit is a Hebrew teacher with experience in integrating modern instructional approaches, such as proficiency, to teach students Hebrew as second language. She is dedicated to a student-focused learning environment, helping all students learn and advance the four main language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Sagit is taking a hands-on approach to teaching students learn Hebrew through a comprehensive immersion in the language and culture.
